How do you put a limited account back to administrator?

I had 1 administrator on this pc with 4 other limited
accounts. My administrator was working on the pc one
night when he accidently made himself limited account.
Now there is no administator on this pc we can't download
anything only delete programs. I wanted to know how can
he change his account back to administrator? Please
help

Hello,

You can login as an Administrator account with all the administrative rights
through Safe mode.by following these steps:

1. Click Start, click Turn Off My Computer, and select Restart.
2. When you see the red Compaq Logo, repeatedly press the F8 key to
bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu."
3. Use the arrow keys to scroll to the Safe mode. The following prompt
will be displayed:

"Please select Operating system to start"

4. Use the arrow keys to scroll to Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
and press Enter. The computer will now start in Safe mode.
5. When prompted, log in as an Administrator.

NOTE: The user name is "administrator" and the password is user
specified (if any) or blank by default.

After login as an administrator, you can change the limited account to full
administrator privleges account.
