how do i view files in list form in win explorer

When I open explorer, it always starts by using icons , I change it to list
and its fine but the next tiem i turn the computer on, it reverts back to
icons, I have gone into tools, options and unchecked remeber for each
folder, but it doesn't save the list setting fo r explorer, HELP
 
Explorer|View|List Then Explorer|Tools|Folder Options|View, then "Like
Current Folder".
 
My Computer / Tools / Folder Options / View / Like Current Folder
