How do I uninstall xp media os and install xp prof os?

I am upgrading all the workstations/laptops at my church from either xp home
or xp media to all xp prof. We are under charity open licensing and need to
remove previous versions first. How do I uninstall previous xp's??? SOS

You can't "uninstall" an operating system. You accomplish the same thing by
formatting the hard drive.

You normally do not do this first, but as part of the Winedows XP
installation. Just boot from the Windows XP CD (change the BIOS boot order
if necessary to accomplish this) and follow the prompts for a clean
installation (delete the existing partition by pressing "D" when prompted,
then create a new one).

Note that this removes not just the operating system, but everything on the
drive, so back up everything you need first.
 
xp media edition is xp pro.
xp media edition only comes with the big box sellers (hp,compaq).
best to use the restore cd's (imho).
