How do I uninstall Microsoft desktop software?

I installed the Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard and Mouse 6000 software
but, although the mouse is very good, the keyboard is useless. I don't type
particularly fast, but it misses a lot of key presses and is unuseable.

How can I uninstall the Intellipoint and Intellitype software from Vista?
They don't appear to have any uninstall option.

They are listed in my Vista Home premium uninstall programs as

Microsoft IntelliPoint 6.1 and
Microsoft IntelliType Pro 6.1
