How do I turn on my RPC server?

My computer will not let me add a printer. The status on my computer
says that I don't have a printer installed. Every time I try to add one
it would say there is a problem with the operation. I read results to
another problem, but it requires me to turn on my RPC server.. How will
I do that? Please reply ASAP..[i have 5 essays to print out.. ]
 
Do you have the installation disk that usually comes with the printer? Or,
go to the manu. site and download drivers from there??
 
Make sure that Print Spooler (in services) is on and set to automatic
