How do I turn off the chkdsk flag?

It is set to run and I don't want that to happen. If you
know how to "unset" it, please share the knowledge. Thank
you?
 
Thank you. Does this apply to XP as well? The listing at
the end of the article does not mention it. Since I
posted this question in the XP area, and I am using XP,
this is important to know. I look forward to your
response.
