how do i turn off firewall on XP home

i cannot find the usual options on network connections
(in the control pannels). i am trying to turn off the
windows firewall but the 'advanced' options does not
appear from where i can on other computers turn off
firewall. how do i turn off windows firewall in this
case? does anybody out there know how to do this, please?

Control Panel>Admin Tools>Services. Look for Internet
connection Firewall(ICF) right click and select
properties>Stop service> Then disable
