How do I troubleshoot hyperlinks to files?

I have links to several Powerpoint files in my Frontpage designed website.
All of the links open the respective files when clicked except for one. For
this one file, nothing happens when I click on it. I have tried renaming the
file, deleting and re-importing it in Frontpage, converting it to PDF,
deleting the hyperlink and re-creating it, all to no effect. It is
recognized as a link in the browser, as the pointing finger comes up when you
move the mouse across it. I can manually open the file in Frontpage in
Design view by holding ctrl while clicking on the link. If I change the link
to another file, it opens normally.

Has anybody experienced this kind problem, and if so, how can it be resolved?

In your browser, right click the link and select properties.
Make sure the link does not have any %20 characters as they represent spaces in the file
name.
Spaces can cause a link to fail.
