how do i stop an email address in excell from freezing the workbo.

How do I stop the hand appearing when I hover over an email address in my
Excell workbook, If i click on it my scroll goeas out of controll and I can's
stop it/

I am not sure if this is what you want or not. I am assuming that the email
address is a hyperlink and that you do not want it to be a hyperlink. Right
click on the email address and select Remove Hyperlink.
