Copying email addresses from excel

I'm copying multiple email addresses from excel into an email (bcc field) and
it is automatically creating "characters" which then return an error when i
try to click send.

I have tripple checked my email addresses and know they are all fine. I know
that the number of contacts & size of the email are within my limits.

The charcters it usually inserts is either a "t" on its own or "ope".

Is there a way to stop it from doing it or just overiding it to ignore the
error?

I've never seen or heard of that behavior. But instead of copying and pasting
addresses, why not use the worksheet as the data source for a Word mail merge
to email? That's better than sending Bcc.
