How do I start word with a blog document?

is there any way to do this? Or better yet, have it show a dialog box with
options of documents to open?
 
Sorry, I suppose I should specify, Word 2007. Also, would there be any way to
close a blank document when publishing it as a blog? When I create a new
document, then decide to publish it to my blog, I go to Publish->Blog, it
opens a new document, leaving document1 still open. Would there be any way to
close Document1 after choosing Publish->Blog?
