Outlook uses Outlook Express for your newsgroup client.
If you want a copy of the message to appear in Outlook's Inbox you'll have to CC
yourself when you send from OE.
If you're not seeing you're messages in OE's Sent Items folder, Try this: In OE,
click on Tools > Options > Send [tab]. Enable "Send a copy of sent messages to
the 'Sent Items' folder"
If you're not seeing your messages in the newsgroup, verify that your OE
settings are as follows:
To configure your client for this format, click on Tools > Options > Read [tab]
and enable "Automatically expand grouped messages". Click on Apply & OK.
Then click on View > Current View and then verify that "Show All Messages" and
"Group Messages by Conversation" are enabled.
Then it's easy to quickly view your messages and any replies by using the
keyboard shortcut Ctrl+H. This can toggle your view between normal and "Show
Replies to My Messages". If you have the client setup correctly, your conversion
will be a thread showing your message at the top and all responses under it.
Also, your message should be colored red.
