How do I set up an animation that enters from a specific point?

I would like a photo to appear, enlarge, and move to the right from a
specific point on a larger photo.
 
You will need a combination of

entrance appear (on click or triggered by click on photo)
emphasis > grow (with previous)
motion path > right (with previous)
 
What version of PowerPoint are you using? The above solution is workable for
PowerPoint 2002/XP and 2003.
