Not real sure what you are asking, but you can create a file in Pictures and
selecting all the pictures on the disk drag and drop them into the new file
or just directly into pictures.

If what you're saying is: I have a CD with photo files that I want to have
on the hard drive of my computer... how do I do that?

You copy them. There are numerous ways to do that. (And I assume we're
talking Vista... not some other operating system.)

Easiest way, not knowing how your desktop is configured, is:

Click on Start Orb
Click on Pictures (should be third menu choice down from upper right hand
column.)
Minimize the Pictures window (click on "_" button in upper right hand corner
of window)
Click on Start Orb
Click on Computer (should be about in the middle of the right hand column.)
(If you haven't already... insert CD with photos on it in CD drive)
Double-click on CD icon in computer window.
If you want to copy all folders/files on the CD to your pictures folder,
hold Ctrl key and press A key. (that will select all folder/files on the CD)
Click on the Pictures icon in the task bar (that will open the pictures
folder again)
Hold the Ctrl key and press the V key. (that will paste all of the pictures
from the CD into your Pictures folder.)

If I've misinterpreted what you're trying to do, let me know and we'll try
again.

Vista has a very good introduction to computers and "how to do stuff"
articles in the Help and Support system.
Click on Start Orb, click on Help and Support, click on Windows Basics.
