How do I remove unwanted items for MSconfig/START

Have several files in START/RUN/MSCONFIG/STARTUP that I do not want in
STARTUP.

Want to be able to start them when I want, but want files out of
START/RUN/MSCONFIG/STARTUP. Already have them UNCHECKED.

Appreciate step by step to get rid them.

First off what programs are they, and secondly a lot of programs add themselves back to startup when you open them.
