How do I remove the envelope toolbar form a document

I have a document that all of a sudden has the envelope toolbar showing.
When I go into the toolbar options it will not let me remove the checkmark
beside envelope toolbar. What do I need to do so that this toolbar will not
display.
 
Click on the E-mail button on the Standard toolbar.
