How do I remove a mailbox from outlook that I no longer use

I use mulitple mailboxes in my outlook, now I want to remove one of these
mailboxes. The instructions in the help section have not been able to help
delete the specific mailbox that I want to remove. Any ideas?

Control panel > Mail Applet > Show Profiles. They'll be listed there and you
can remove the one you want.

I did as you suggested and was able to select remove from the "Show Profiles"
section. However, after rebooting the mailbox that I had deleted was still
appearing. I then tried to go throught the same steps again, but the mailbox
was not showing on the "Show Profiles" list. Any other ideas?
