I am trying to add multiple mailboxes to my outlook account and I am getting
the "cannot display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook cannot access the
specified folder location" error. I am able to add other mailboxes that have
the same exact active directory settings as this one and see their contents.
I am not sure why I cannot see the contents of this mailbox.

Can anyone help me with this.

Thanks!!

Where you granted permissions to the root folder of this mailbox? (or
better stated, how was rights granted to you to access said mailbox?)

how would I grant permissions to the root folder I guess is the question.

Couple of ways...

right click on the folder 'Mailbox - <username>' and select properties. go
to the permission tab and grant a minimum of read.

the other method requires using active directory users and computers snapin
on the exchange server (or wherever you have installed Exchange System
Manager).
