I've checked "loop continuously" but slides don't change unless I click on
them. Am I too impatient?

Need to have this working in 3 days!

Go to Slide Sorter View.
Go to Edit > Select All.
Go to Slide Show > Slide Transition
Set your transitions to Automatically after xxx seconds (with xxx being
whatever number you want.

Loop continuously tells PPT to restart the presentation at slide one after the
last slide's done.

In order to get to the last slide, you need to get past slide 1, <g>.

Try (from the main menu) SlideShow, Rehearse Timings. That'll let you play the
show and record the times when you clicked to advance slides. PPT will then
play back the show automatically using those timings.

That should do it for ya.
