How do I permanently delete items in my junk email folder?

outlook 2002,
I like to look at the messages I have set to automatically move to my junk
email folder, but would like to permanently delete them from there, not have
them go to my deleted items folder to have to be deleted again, and mixed in
with deleted items I would like to archive.
Can this be done?

Outlook 2002 doesn't have a Junk E-mail folder. If you see one, it was
created by a third-party application. Outlook treats it no differently from
amy other folder. So, if you want to permanently delete the items in the
folder, select them all with CTRL-A, hold Shift and click Delete.
