How do I make sure two different email to different storage?

I have 2 email accounts, one for college, and one for my personal affairs, I
would really love to keep them seperate. (one Exchange and on POP3)
The problem is that I can't seem to keep the email from two accounts to stay
seperate, in settings I can either flush all my new emails to the microsoft
exchange server, or all blash them in to my hard drive.
Is there any way to keep them apart? all the emails from College stay on the
exchange server, while all my PoP3 emails gets downloaded in to my personal
folder?
I don't really want to use different profile since I have to log in and out
of outlook and that is quite a hassel, I can see personal mailbox and the
college exchange one on a single account, why can't I use them all in the
same time? (one is always empty) I am using Outlook 2003

are you using rules to move the mail from the personal account to a pst on
your hard drive?

Not sure what you are talking about sorry.

What I have done so far is added 2 email accounts

1. Personal Email which uses POP3.
After I did this all the email from pop3 were downloaded to my personal
email thing on my computer.
2. College Email account which is Exchange Service.

When the account is set up, all the emails frommy exchange service was
downloaded to my personal email thing although on my outlook it now show I
have 2 mail boxes, one college and one POP3.

What I really want is the emails stay seperate, thats when I recive email
from college it stays in my college mailbox (it doesn't get deleted from
college and downloaded to my computer) while in the same time POP3 email are
transfered on to my computer from POP3 account.

There is a option in E-mail Accounts under Deliver new e-mail to the
following location: but that option changes both accounts exchange and POP3
so I can only direct all the email to one place or another.

in the 'deliver email to' selection, choose exchange server. this will keep
exchange mail on exchange server. Then create a rule that all mail from pop3
account goes to the other inbox.
