How do I get rid of this pointer tool tip help

I have been trying to remove help from my pointer. When I am mousing over any
text or icon help or tool infomation follows everything and it is in the way.
I miss my Mac

Hi Pam, I believe I know what you're referring to. Try this: Start>Control
Panel>Folder Options, and click on "View" tab. Scroll down to "show pop-up
description for folder and desktop items. *Un-check* this box, Apply and OK
your way out. Any joy?
