Mouse Pointer disappears on right side of screen only.

Hello,
My mouse pointer can go off the screen on the right side almost infinitely.
I have to scroll it back to get it onto the computer screen. Whereas at the
top, bottom, and left, the screen edge is where it stops when scrolling with
the mouse. Is this the way XP is setup, or is there a setup/setting
somewhere I can play with? Note that everything else fits perfectly in full
screen, so there is nothing else to the right of the edge of my monitor.

Thanks in advance for any help, advice, or clarification!

The mouse pointer is scrolling onto your second monitor. Disable the
second monitor and you can stop this effect. I couldn't suggest how you
do this, because you didn't mention whether you have a laptop, what
graphics card you have, computer model, XP version, etc..

It's because you have a leftward (and upward) pointing cursor icon. So
when you move it to the right side of the screen, you don't see the
cursor icon for the mouse. If you selected a rightward (and upward)
mouse icon then you'd see it on the right side of the screen, but then
it would disappear off the left side of the screen.

There should be a tiny bit left of the mouse icon showing. When the
cursor hits the screen boundary, it stops. Slide the mouse up and down
to see if you can catch a glimpse of the left edge of the arrow at the
very edge of the screen.

Of course, maybe the real problem is that you have the screen sized
larger than your monitor's width. That means not only the mouse icon
disappears but anything else that is smaller than how much you oversized
the screen. You'll have to use your monitor's controls to resize the
width of the screen to match your monitor (which will also probably
result in having to horizontally reposition the screen). If your
monitor is at its min width setting or you cannot horizontal reposition
the screen then see if your video driver installed software, like a
control panel applet (or one that adds tabs to the Display applet under
the Settings -> Advanced panel) to resize and reposition the screen.

Thanks folks! The multiple displays was the problem. My NVIDIA card had it
turned on, so i turned it off. Still had issue. Then I finally figured out
it was trying to go to the base video card monitor. Once I switched that
off, all fixed. Thanks again!

That's great news! Thanks for reporting back.
