For it to work in all applications, including email you'll need to
use a font that contains a slashed zero. In Word, you can use an EQ
\o field to overstrike a zero with a slash; see
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Overbar.htm.

I'm trying to set my computer to automatically set numeral zero
with the military Ø, but this one is a alfa O with a lash. I need
it to print - email and set it to all opened documents.

Leroy-P,
If you go to Word click on [ Insert then Symbol] then click onto
Font and go to Accord lightSF where you have a lower case ø and
an uppercase Ø.
Hope this helps

I need to write numeral zero with lashes to stand apart from Oo
characters. I believe there is a Microsoft standard that allows
this. Anyone remember?
