Contact list pane in WinMail

Is there anyway to add the contact list pane at the bottom left of Window
Mail on the main window? Ie.: under the "Local Folders"

If someone knows either way, that this is an absolute impossibility or how
to open this view, please let me know. Someone with a connection to the
program developers at MS needs to give them a good tough lashing and have
them post a “fixâ€. I don’t know about anyone else, but when I’m running full
throttle, that is a very efficient option to have.

You could put the Contacts in the Sidebar, via the Windows Orb (Start) > All
Programs > Accessories > Windows Sidebar then add the Contacts by clicking
the plus sign at the top. Now click on the Contacts ‘shaded’ box and drag it
to the Desktop to give a bigger and better display as an ‘open book‘.

To compose an email, scroll down the left page of the Contacts and click on
the person you want then click on their email address in the right page to
open the New Message dialogue.

No, that is not possible.
Microsoft did a focus group study on how OE was being used, and they
discovered that only a small percentage of users started a new email that
way. Alternate methods for starting a new email are just as good.

Which is actually a feedback site for Windows Live Mail issues.
Microsoft doesn't want feedback for Windows Mail since it is a
dead product which will not receive any further development or fixes.
