WinMail

GoodDay,
out of a sudden - I didn't change anything !!! - when I open Win Mail I get
a message
telling me that there is a failure when loading my contacts; the next window
says impossible to initialize Windows Contacts, unsufficient memory.
The last Window says "MSOE.dll cannot be initialized.
This happens only with my MAIN account, other accounts work properly.
I also noticed that the Window Mail directory in users/Main
Account/AppData/Local/Microsoft/ is empty, contrary to the same in other
accounts.
What can I do for getting WinMail working again on my MAin Account ???
Thanks and regards
Jacques

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them have been
known to cause problems like this and various other problems in Windows
Mail, although seldom immediately.

Also, when looking in that directory, do you have the display of hidden
and system files enabled?

I use AVG since years and had no problem with WinMail I use since one year
since yesterday!
Display of hidden and systemfiles is enabled.
Strange enough the the Window Mail directory in users/OTHER
Account/AppData/Local/Microsoft/ is not empty and WinMAil with those
accounts works properly

If you used the standard install for AVG, Windows Mail sometimes
starts to work better if you uninstall AVG, then do a custom install
where you tell it to leave out the part that scans email. If you have
the paid version, you may want to try to find a way to disable the
email scanning part first, and leave it disabled.

Problems in Windows Mail caused by antivirus programs often
take months to appear.

Also, if you have the Google Toolbar program installed, uninstall
it. It causes problems in Windows Mail.

What if any antispyware programs do you have? Some of them
can cause problems in Windows Mail.
