how do i downgrade an w2k sp4 to sp2

I have purchased a server pc from dell pre-installed with
windows server 2000 sp4.
Now an application requires to run in sp2.
How can i down grade my sp4 to sp2

Service packs are cumulative, so everything in SP2 is in SP4. The app
_should_ run under SP4...but a quick call to the app's tech support
people would be the safest thing. If some app coder decided to check for
"SP2" instead of "SP2 or greater" there may be a very simple fix, like a
mod to a line in a .ini file.

It's easy to back out of a SP _if_ you have the SP installation-time
uninstall file, which is the collection of all replaced files. If you
don't have that, I'm not sure it can be done without a new OS install.
Someone else may have better advice.
