How do I deleted a large (partially sent) message from my outbox?

Tried to send an e-mail with a large attachment. It was rejected by my
hotmail account I replicate using outlook. I now have it partially sent in my
outlook outbox and I am unable to delete it or modify since it indicates it
has been partially sent. Is there anyway to do a force delete on the message?

Put Outlook in offline mode, exit, reload Outlook, and delete the item in
your Outbox. Then put Outlook back in online mode.
