Large Item in Outbox Peventing me from sending mail

Peter Mller

Hello,

I have a large item (many pictures) in my Outlook outbox that I want to
delete out of my outbox because any messages I send will not be sent because
of the large item in my outbox that is preventing the other messages from
being sent. Everytime time I try to delete the large item in my outbox, I
get an error message that says, "Unable to delete because message is in the
process of being sent," or something to that effect.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Peter

File - Work Offline
Wait 5 minutes
Attempt to delete.

If it still fails,
File - Exit
Wait 5 minutes
Check task manager to ensure that outlook.exe is not a running process on
the process tab.
Start Outlook and stay offline
Attempt to delete.

As posted here at LEAST once a day:
Click File and check Work Offline. Close and then restart Outlook. Delete
the message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.

If that doesn't work, try this:
