You will need a second partition of the disk for the second system.
That will probably mean getting third party partitioning software, like
Partition Magic, which will come with its related Boot Manager, Boot
Magic, to organise the dual boot. Or I would (and do) use BootIT NG,
from http://www.BootitNG.com ($35 shareware - 30 day full functional
trial)

This gives a cleaner result more easily than does trying to add a second
system using the XP dual boot feature, which can be done if it is on FAT
32 and there is a second partition already around (see
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/tips/xp_repair_9x.htm).

But you could clean off the disk, make a partition for the other
system *first* and install it, then run the XP install from that to
make a New install into a second partition, which will set up a dual
boot
