How do I change the power settings so that my screen is just as bright when
my computer is running on batteries or is plugged in? Please Help!

those of use who have vender supplied configuration utilities know
this is not so because we can configure this feature in our power

The processor chips and display hardware for mobile units have this feature
built-in to preserve battery life. It goes hand in hand with the "x number
of hours on battery" advertised for the unit. Utilities that are often
packed with the display drivers allow you to change this behavior.

The operating system may seem like the place to configure this but since
drivers vary, it's probably a task best left for the driver developers to
deal with.
