How do I change the date on several tasks having same past date

If I have several tasks scheduled for each day, and I'm out sick for a week,
sometimes I would like to move all of a prior day's tasks to a new common
date. Is there a way to do this without laboriously going into each task for
all days and moving them one-by-one. I group by date and would like to move
a date group all at once.

So if you group them by date, can't you drag them to another group with the
Due date you want to change them to?

No. When you have sorted your tasks by start date, and then collapse the
view so that all you see is that date, you cannot drag the entire date. Nor
can you highlight and move the bunch of them if you are looking at them in
uncollapsed mode, unless I'm doing something wrong.

Did I say sort? No.

Group by Date then drag from one group to the other.
