Sort Tasks with No Date at Bottom

This is something that has bugged me for years and I'm now on OL2007 and
don't see a way to do it either. I would like to sort tasks ascending by due
date but have the tasks with no due date at all appear at the bottom of the
list. They way Outlook works, it puts the tasks with no due date at the top
and those are my least important tasks.

Of course if I sort descending, I get the dated tasks towards the top, but
they are in the wrong order with the closest upcoming due dates at the bottom
of the ones with dates.

I get that this is how computers naturally sort things, but other PIM
applications are written to handle this special case and sort a blank due
date to the bottom.

Does anyone have any ideas on this? IF there was a field that was true or
false based on whether a task had a due date or not, we could sort on that
first and then on due date, but I don't see any way to get that either.

Thanks!

The flag is a nice idea. You could do that with a formular field - but then
you can neither sort nor group by that field.

With VBA it would be possible to add a user defined field and fill that with
either 1 (has a due date) or 0 (has none).
