How do i print tasks specific to a date or range of dates?

Hi ,

recently i upgraded to outlook 2007. In v2003 i could have many tasks with a
start and a due date. this was useful as my takes usually remained active for
several days. now when i went to calendar i could select a period of the
previous seven days lets say by highlighting the miniature calendar, this
would show me all the tasks taht were active during that period. i cant
figure out how to do this in Outlook 2007 ? any help please?

Sadly, that feature is gone (and we told Microsoft that we want it back!).
Closest match is the Daily Task List feature but that doesn't come close in
functionality for the TaskPad view "Show tasks for selected days".

Right that was extremely dissapointing as this is a functionality which is
very very important for me and my business. Is it possible to use microsoft
office 2007 and install outlook 2003 instead of 2007 ?

Also the task timeline feature could be sued when i highlight the multiple
tasks that i want to print out, it does not give the option of printing out a
list instead it prints out one per page?

Is it possible to print this out as a list all on one page ?

Yes, you can use the rest of Office 2007 with Outlook 2003. Some features
that require mail integration won't work though, like a Mail Merge.

No, that is only possible for a table view. A crude but effective way around
this would be to make a screenshot and print that instead.

Also, you can switch to a table view. You can then select the rows that you
want and select to print those rows only.

O right ok. Thank you very much for your help !

If i did want to install outlook 2003 on its own without the rest of office
2003 how would i go about doing this ?

would it be possible to have both outlook 2003 and 2007 on the comp at the
same time or do i need to uninstall outlook 2007? and how do i go about donig
this without uninstalling the rest of office 2007 ?

much appreciated

You can only have one version of Outlook installed at a time. You can
uninstall Outlook 2007 through the Office setup in Add/Remove Programs. Or,
when you run a Custom install, when Office is not installed yet, you can
disable applications you don't want installed.

However, I would recommend installing Outlook 2003 first and after this
install Office 2007 (without Outlook obviously). This is to make sure that
no newer components will be overwritten/registered by Outlook 2003.
