How do I change my default web editor to MS Word?

I used to use CoffeeCup software to create/edit my webpage, but now I realize
it is much easier to edit my page using Word. For some reason, I am having
problems with editing my page with Word and when I do, if I refresh the page,
it reverts back to my old page. I have looked all over the Internet and used
Office Help, but no luck! Can someone please give me some advice???? I
appreciate it!!

Kristen,
First and foremost. . .Word was never intended to be used to
create web page (it makes bloated html and has many restrictions).
Rather, web pages created from Word were intended to merely provide a
transport meduim for returning the original doc back into a functioning Word
Document.

There is a setting in Word to make it the default editor.
with Word open:
Tools / Options / General / Web Options / Files / Check if Word is the
default editor

There is also a setting on Internet Explorer.
with Internet Explorer Open:
Tools/ Options / Programs / HTML Editor
