When I am responding to Outlook messages, the replies are automatically
putting themselves into double line spacing, not single line spacing. I do
not want to go to Word as my editor, since I use a lot of signatures in my
messages. I would be grateful for any assistance.

I don't see how assistance is possible without knowing your Outlook version,
the format of the replies, and the formatting settings you have specified.

Thank you for replying and I am sorry for not including the right
information. Outlook is 2003 version and I do not know about the formatting.
I copy and paste from one message, since the messages are coming in through
OUtlook but through a website, so I cannot click on the reply, I have to type
the e-mail address in myself (or copy and paste from the message).
I don't know how to format the replies. When I have used signatures, I have
used Word as the editor of the signatures.
Would this help?

So these aren't replies at all, right? They're new messages?
You can at least tell us the format of these message, can't you?
If you are using HTML format, I would imagine Outlook is simply using the
format of the message you've pasted.
Why not just use plain text?
