Why is my single-spaced signature in Outlook 07 showing up double

I use an optional signature which looks single spaced when I add it to my
message. When I get replies to my message, sometimes my signature has become
double-spaced in their version of my message. I sent a message to myself
ifrom Outlook to my gmail account and it came out double-spaced. What is
going on and what can I do to correct it?

Is your default format HTML? If yes, have you tried moving to the next line
using Ctrl+Enter?

You probably mean SHIFT+ENTER
CTRL+ENTER will send an open message ;-)
