how do I add an extra 'click here' box on the slide master (ppt)?

I'd like to add another 'click here' box on the slide master page - can it be
done? If so, how?

You can't change the Date Area to a "Click here to add text". But you can
delete any of the placeholders.

No can do.

You can choose to use or not use any of the available placeholders but you
can't change their behaviors.

A slide number placeholder will behave a certain way; it doesn't include the
"Click here to [whatever]" behavior.
