How do I access newsgroups like I did with OE6

Exactly the same way you did in OE6. Near as I can tell, the only
difference between OE and WM is how and where the db's are stored.

First you have to set up to connect with their newsgroups server.

These instructions are for Outlook Express, but should also work
under Windows Mail. I assume you know how to start Windows
Mail.

I think I've read that they've decided to drop the alt hierarchy of
newsgroups, so you may need to connect with another server
as well if you want any newsgroups in that hierarchy. For example:
