how can you add a .gif file and see it's animation?

Can anyone tell me how to add a .gif file to an email and see it's animation?

I want to attach animated files from clipart gallery and send them, however,
when I add the file, it is not animated.

Any help will work!

Make sure your email format is HTML. Open the gif in Internet Explorer,
highlight it. Right click and scroll to copy. Paste it into your email. That
should do it.

You have to upload the gif file to a web site and refer to it with HTML code.
Since the clipart is on your computer, people receiving emails will not be
able to see it. Your ISP should have a personal web page available for you to
use. Ask them.
