viewing an animated GIF in outlook 07

I have created an animated GIF that i am sending out to friends and
family, there are some that receive this and can view the GIF and
others that can't. the ones that can receive the GIF have outlook 03,
and the ones that can not recieve the GIF are using outlook 07.

I am sending the GIF from outlook 03, should this have any affect at
all on how the 07 users are seeing the GIF, they should be able to see
the animated view that was created but are unable to. i have even
tried opening the GIF from the web page and using the file > send >
page by email. the users with outlook 07 still are unable to view the
GIF properly, but can see a picture. all files are uploaded to a host
server and published to a web page. they can be viewed in internet
explorer with no problems at all

i guess my question would be, what is different about outlook 07 from
outlook 03?

Outlook 2007 does NOT do animated emails thank God!

There is a lot of differences. Outlook 2007 uses word to render email and
word does not support animated gifs. Send it as an attachment so they can
open it in an image viewer or they can use Other actions, View in Browser.
