Apologies if it appeared I was aggressive re pro or anti Microsoft;
wasn't meant to be put that way. Just a measure of the frustration
at not being able to do a search to locate all emails that I've sent
to "@ljh.com.au".

Using Lookout from Microsoft or Google Desktop Search may make this task
easier.

My email is not display in the from field on 99% of my messages. Everyonce
in awhile it shows up but I cannot figure out how to make it show up all the
time. So in my sent folder, it looks like the messages are sent by nobody.

help?

But you KNOW who sent the mails - it's YOU!

Yes - I know. :) but if I forward these message to anyone else, my
name
is not displayed.

Neither is mine when I forward a sent message - that's normal! It also
doesn't show my email address when I compose a new mail either! That's all
normal behaviour.
