how can I see document line number usually in the lower tool bar

i'm used to office 97. when I am formatting a document and moving lines of
text up or down I was able to see the line number my text was at and i could
then shift it up or downEx I was able to see that the first line of text was
on line three so I could move it up to line 1

I'm guessing you must have Word 2007. Right-click on the status bar and add
the features you want (Line Number is one of the options).
