How can I save PowerPoint handout the way I want it to

P

Pam

I am using PP 2007 and have tried using the automatic function to save the
presentation to a Word document. The biggest issues I have are:

1. It saves it as three slides to a page and I want it 2 to a page, and
without notes or lines.
2. It automatically puts the Slide number to the left of the slide.

I am doing this for a doctoral program project and I need to send the actual
handout version along with the PP presentation file for grading ASAP.

Help!!! Is there an easier and more effective way to get PP to
convert/import to another type of file for use as my handout? I am not
familiar with how to convert and use PDF for this either so any help is
greatly appreciated.

Thank you for trying to help Jean-Pierre. Unfortunately it did not work and
the PDF option did not appear under Save As. I will keep trying.

Again...Merci!

You can use transform your PPT into PDF file, using this download (french
site, but the download works as well.
When downloaded, Office button/Save as (do not click then) and in the
windows that open, click on PDF...

I would use Office Button | Save As and choose PDF or XPS. Then in the Save
As dialog box, hit the Options button.

Choose Handouts and 2 / page.

You will need the Save as PDF add-in, which is what Jean-Pierre was pointing
you to, I think. Try this one:

If you want to use Send to Word, then you'll want to use Office Button |
Publish | Create Handouts. Since the choices aren't what you want, you need
to choose the closest to that -- in this case, I'd choose Blank Lines Below
Slides. Then in Word, you'll need to delete the lines and the page breaks
between slides to allow 2/page.
