How can I remove Start > All Programs>....>exe

How does one remove an entry in Start>All Programs with deleting the
program itself

If you have a .exe in the start menu, a rather unusual practice, but
when it happens you have to move the program not delete it. If you
move it to C:\program files then if you want a link to it just right
click and drag it back to the start menu and "make shortcut".
If you right click on the start button then 'explore' you can do it in
explorer if you want.
 
Are you trying to stop the programme loading when you boot or just to
remove it from the start list? What is the programme?
