I am trying to copy or move a worksheet from one book to another. when i do
this, it just changes the whole format of the sheet and does allow to do any
thing on that moved sheet in the new workbook and gives me an error " Too
many different cell formats".

This oftem seems to happen when working with workbooks that have been used
in different language version of Excel.
Changing all fonts to 1 type eg arial should normally fix it, if not change
the font colour, then the size etc. Do fix it though otherwise one day your
workbook might not open.

cheers
