Not even in safe mode? Last known good?

Maybe:

SCROLL DOWN when you visit there.

You could also just do a repair installation...

The Ultimate Boot CD for Windows can find both the Product ID and the 25
digit CD key. It takes about a half hour to create the CD so it's up
to you whether it's worth the time and effort.

Ultimate Boot CD for Windows, How to build
http://www.ubcd4win.com/howto.htm

After you've booted from the CD, do the following:

To retrieve your product ID, go to Start -> Programs -> Registry Tools
and launch RegEdit (Remote).
Click No when asked if you want to load remote profiles.
Navigate to this registry key,
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version.
Look in the right hand pane for ProductID.
Note: Going to Control Panel -> System Properties won't give you the
correct product ID. Same goes for My Computer Properties.

To retrieve the 25 digit installation key,
Go to Start -> Programs -> System Information -> Info. and Diag. Tools
and launch KeyFinder PE.
Click the Browse button.
Navigate to C:\Windows.
Your CD key should be displayed.
Note: If you have a PC produced by a major manufacturer such as Dell or
HP, the CD key displayed will probably be an SLP key which will not
match the key printed on the sticker that's attached to your machine.

Good luck
