Hi, I can only find information after 6/19. How can I find earlier posts?
I am using OE 6 on an XP machine.
I changed the "get 300 headers at a time" to 1000, but it didnot add any one
more header.

After you changed the number of headers to retrieve, did you then try and
retrieve more headers?

If so, which newsgroup server are you accessing?

Yes, I tried and even closed OE and re-open it. But no more header.

This newsgroup.

Thanks for reply!

George, Some newsgroup servers only keep a certain number of days available
from a newsgroup.
The Newsgroup is microsoft.public.win2000.general , but the NEWS server
is the NEWS service used to access the group.

Anyway, You can go to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/community/newsgroups/operatingsystems/default.mspx
website and read this group using a web-based reader.
Chose WINDOWS 2000 General in the lower left hand corner (right above
OPEN WITH NEWSREADER)
This is a web based version of this group that ranges from current to July,
2003 (change the page number at bottom to jump back)
Hope this helps you... Ken

In OE, if you go to Tools then Accounts, you can go to properties for your
news server and it will tell you which one you are using. For instance, I
attach to msnews.microsoft.com
