Windows Mail only supports POP it doesn't support HTTP such as Hotmail. It's
strange really because while Windows Mail doesn't allow you to access
hotmail emails, you can download emails from your hotmail account and other
accounts using Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta.

works as a proxy server to read hotmail into Windows Mail.
