hotmail stops working after day

I have Hotmail Premium and Outlook downloads my hotmail info just fine ---
for about 1 day. Then it stops working (just hotmail) and I get the
following error:

Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Downloading all items.' reported error
(0x80004005): 'Outlook's request to the server failed. The server responded
". '

If I restart Outlook (not rebooting or re-installing, just closing and
re-opening), it works fine for about a day. Any ideas? My other Outlook
email is through an Exchange Server.

It is a known issue that has been traced back to a bug in passport. It only
happens when you have your Outlook connected to Hotmail through HTTP for
over 24 hours. There is nothing wrong with your Outlook configuration and
the Passport team is working on a fix. The workaround is to restart your
Outlook at least every 24 hours
